The McDonald’s Academic Excellence Award is a one-time scholarship for college awarded to high school seniors. McDonald’s St. Louis/Metro East will be awarding over $25,000 in scholarships for college. See the guidelines below, and submit your application for consideration of a scholarship.

More than $21,000 will be awarded to Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club (HHBGC) in the St. Louis area the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens announced. The funds will support real world experience programs that help teens stay in school and graduate towards a better life. HHBGC will serve 435 teens through a Graduate to Go experience grant.

The Youth of the Year program promotes and celebrates service to Club, community and family as well as academic performance, moral character and life goals. 2011 YOY, Matthew has been a member of Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club - Sportsman’s Park Unit for twelve years. A senior at Metro High School Academy, Matthew is a successful student with a current GPA of 3.2 and recently became a member of the National High School Scholars. He is involved in several extracurricular activities including Poetry Club, the school newspaper, Tech Crew and manager of the varsity baseball team.
